Family dog finds, saves missing 3-year-old in North Dakota

When Carson Urness didn’t come inside from playing in the farmyard by 7:30 at night, the boy’s mother became frantic with worry, according to this report from local news station KHON2. After searching the property herself, she called 911. Over 200 friends, family and neighbors joined firefighters and police officers in the search for Carson.

But...

“And then, 7:30 rolled around I figured he’d start getting hungry sometime,” Courtney Urness, Carson’s mom said.

When my kids were 3 years old, if they were outside, I was outside with them.
At the very least, I would have had a visual on them the entire time.

Kevin Wallevand & his editor both need a refresher in course in journalistic writing
