Just found an empty birds nest on the ground...

What do I do now? I'm so clueless about things like this. Can anyone help?

place it right in the middle of one. If you can that is. They are often reused.

I have an active mockingbird nest in my yard and it is no more than 5' above the ground. Putting one where there is lots of cover seems to be the most important thing.
