The DU Lounge

I don't like it.

(54,300 posts)It was an idea. I checked it out. First impression was that it was a drawn-out version of the comments section of the blog at the Washington Post, which has a roster of "professional rightists." Some of them post under multiple names and do nothing but spout lines heard on Fox Noise, usually in a tone somewhere between arrogant and nasty (you can tell they like Hannity, O'Reilly and Coulter--maybe that's who pays them for their time, for all I know).
I'll give it time to sort itself out, look again, and if there's no change, I'll drop it. Who, besides Freepers, would need a board that is basically DU with Freepers welcome? If you see a salad with the option of with or without avocados on the menu, and you hate avocados, then you simply don't order the one with avocados.
Good place to see all the RW bullshit and debate if you choose.
Guten tag, mein Freund.

(70,647 posts)It's like, had to see The Passion of the Christ because it was a cultural-political "thing." OTOH, (also Mel GIBSON) "Apocalypto" was totally brilliant yet got NO resonance, figure that.
