Health care or employment-you can't have both

An editorial in the Tacoma newspaper called Off The Wire says that the increase in Medicare will decrease employment and that is a negative. Apparently the concept is that if provided medical the lower-classes will become lazy and not want to work. If employment means no medical care, do you blame the lower-classes? How brutal this nation has become under 8 years of Bush. A Christian nation would not advocate medical care or work....the US is not a Christian nation....it's values do not reflect the Good Book. How can anyone advocate employment in lieu of medical care? Especially when all developed nation have medical care for all of its citizens. You take pride in this?
