2. Plenty.

But I don't need a doctor to get over a garden-variety virus.

3. We have a sore throat/sniffles/cough running through the family. Should have

bought stock in throat lozenges!

Sorry you are down with something as well.

Forgot to ask you something so, here goes: If you could eradicate one disease from the world tomorrow, which one would it be and why?

4. A qualified answer:

Cancer.

I qualified it because cancer isn't a single disease. There are hundreds of different kinds. So when someone asks: "Why can't we find a cure for cancer?", they should really be asking: "Why can we finds cures for the hundreds of different kinds of cancers?"

If not that, then diabetes.

7. I am sorry you're not feeling well, my dear Aristus...

Tonight, I am sad because perhaps WCGreen may be close to dying.

I will be going to Cleveland tomorrow to see him...Which is tough, but I need to be there.

I know you can't answer this, but you did say ask me anything! When will my sorrow go away? A foolish question, of course.

Feel better very soon, OK?

8. Sorrow over the death of a loved one may never go away completely.

But it can become easier to live with as time passes...

10. Oh, no, Peggy, really?

I'm so sorry to hear of this. Oh, gosh.

Aristus, don't mean to hijack--I hope you feel better soon! It's not really the season for chicken soup, but I hear it helps. Or hot toddies. Or both.

As to the question, when a band is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, should the band members or the Hall have final say in who is included as a member of the band?

25. Good question.

I think there are a lot of variables. If there are personnel changes that date to the time period for which the band is being inducted, consideration should be made as to whether the departing band member quit or was fired.

Another possible variable, is the highly subjective notion of the degree to which that particular band member contributed to the band's overall sound.

20. What should I do about this pesky little rash?

I've washed it and put on Neosporin Ointment. It's been over a week now.

I hope you're felling better this morning.

21. essential lavender oil. not straight up, but cut in with another, gentler oil

(which is how it's sold anyway). The bottle I have right now is lavender/almond oil, but any of the lavender/something blends will do.

Essential lavender oil is antimicrobial and very soothing to the skin. Not to mention the heavenly fragrance.

I used it on Jake's ringworm, which the prescription stuff hadn't touched for 2 months. Continued the prescription stuff, but used the lavender oil in between. Left my dog vet all when the ringworm magically disappeared.

I also have used it to heal scratches (which is essentially the same thing as ringworm, i.e. a symbiotic fungal/bacterial infection) on my old horse, who was prone to both in his later years.

22. I have several bottles of St Marie's Lavender from Young Living Essential Oils.

Why didn't I think about that sooner. I still have a full YLO case.
