I only get to take one dog to my new home
she gets the other three....and I take.........
I can't decide I love the gump...Junior is a baby on steroids...but happy is the one who curls up next to me when the day is done and we settle in. All of them will be cared for for life so that isn't a worry...it's just that I can only have one at my new place. The wife is being cool and says take my choice I can only take one and this is a hard choice

3. I understand your feelings
When I got divorced, my husband sued for the house. We had three cats. I looked at apartments but each one I looked at had a limit of two cats (or one cat, one dog). I cried for hours thinking of which of my babies I would have to give up and where that one would have to go as he didn't want any pets. My attorney worked like hell to get me the house. I gave up other assets but in the end, I got the house and I got to keep all three of my cats. When I got back from court, I kissed the front door and hugged and kissed each of the fur-babies. That was years ago, they're all gone now, but they had good lives -- 17, 16, and 18 when they died.
You're fortunate that the ones you leave behind will still have a good life. Making the decision is torture. |
