To all DUer Pet Owners living along the coastal areas of the Atlantic and Gulf

Hurricane season is upon us. Now is the time to make sure you have a plan should you have to evacuate your family & furbabies. To many times I read about pets getting left behind during these evacuations because people couldn't find a shelter that would allow them to bring their pets.

I know progressives are great pet owners but still its good to know ahead of time what shelters take pets or other options than to have to figure this stuff out 2-3 hours before evacuating!!

Basically, she trains every animal to run into its carrier when she blows on a whistle. It's not only handy during performances, it also gets the creature ready-to-go with little hassle. Just blow the whistle while you're getting your stuff together, and your pet will be in the carrier waiting for you

I could never train my cats to do that. LOL!

It must be pretty adorable when she blows that whistle and they all hop into their carriers!
