A specimen bag. That will keep the interlopers out of it. Get well soon. Sorry to hear you have been off your feed.

Weird.

But soooo glad to hear you may be getting out today. And won't be going home... snort... if you're like me that's like going on vacation. NOT having to deal with the large livestock - both human and otherwise, snuggling down in front of a teevee that actually gets more than 3 channels, someone else cleans up every day... Ice, food and drinks are usually just down the hall or at most across the street.

Yeah, relax and get well soon!!

I've had my swamp cooler on 24/7 for a month. It's hard to keep the dirt out of the house-I don't like to unlace my work boots every time I come in the house. I like to think of it as camping indoors.

then have 3 dogs and a cat going in and out at will (and us) - and they are not clean city pets whatsoever

I think it is probably cleaner OUTside.

I've got it a mile high on everything in my apartment here in the CA hi dez, but I know you can easily top us for heat and sand dust.

Fingers crossed you get released today, Kali.

With personal DIY at home wound care bonus!

Of course, the other downside is...no more tagteam bedbaths.

If MFM were here he'd be ribbing the hell out of you and cracking us all up. Someday I'll come out your way to have a girly drink together in his memory.

Great news that you are getting out today. If you don't want the experience to end, you can have your husband wake you in the middle of the night for no good reason or turn random lights on and off.

Feel better soon!

And I love when they bring you a urine bottle and don't come back to collect it!

That happened to me once in ICU, so I just stood the bottle between my thighs and went back to sleep. But I must have rolled over at some point, and the bottle spilled all over me and the bed.

Complicating matters, I had a trache and couldn't speak. So when the nurse entered in my chart "Incontinent--1000cc's" you can imagine my objection and my frustration at not being able to explain. I was a VN combat vet being treated for my wounds AND I DID NOT WET THE BED, DAMMIT!

Unfortunately, what is documented says otherwise...
