So heartsick...had to have DeeDee euthanised.

She crashed the last week or so and stopped eating and was falling down often and just pitiful to see her like that.

I'll always remember her like this...when I first brought her home.

and her penchant for getting herself in odd situation (my poor terrarium never recovered from the invasion of the giant cat).

I'm gonna miss her.

We presently have two Siamese, a chocolate point and a blue point. Every Siamese we've ever had were very affectionate. I'm sure you gave DeeDee a great home. How old was she?

A kind lady in her neighborhood took her in and my hubby and I became her caretakers because her presence was causing the other lady's cat to spray. She was already fixed and had been declawed (grrrrr) by her original owners.

I had her for about 10 years after that.

When we first went to see DeeDee, she came right up to me and jumped into my lap and there was no question about whether or not she was coming home with me at that point.

One of her favorite places was the back of my computer chair watching me work or browse the web.

Hi,
I had to have my poor cat put to sleep Monday, it sucks.

Hang in there.

Peace

She's a beauty! Just remember that you saved her from a darker fate, and that you gave her a life that was worth living.

I lost my father last Father's Day.

He told me that there was a celebration on his birth, make it the same in his death. Its tough to hold on to that, but makes sense?

On edit: Hope you feel better soon

Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so --
'twas Heaven here with you.
