Police: Man says 'thank you' after robbing Upstate restaurant
SPARTANBURG, S.C. —A man who threatened to shoot an employee while robbing an Upstate restaurant said "thank you" before leaving, according to an incident report.
The report said an employee at the Golden Corral on W O Ezell Boulevard said she noticed a man standing by the register of the restaurant around 8:30 p.m. Monday…
She said the man turned around and showed her a gun and told said, “Open the register. Keep calm or I will shoot you.”…
The woman told police she gave the man money from the register and he told her not to call police…
Before leaving the woman said the man said "Thank You."
