This shot was a lucky coincidence- there was an unseasonable snowfall one fine morning in Nashville a few years back. This was on a client's property I needed to do some work at. I had my trusty Nikon FG and some good Kodak film with me, so I snapped this shot on a whim. An hour later all the snow was gone and the moment would have otherwise passed unseen by anyone.
I scanned the photo at a high enough resolution that a decent full sized print would be possible. I've been considering giving it a go for a few years now, and am curious as to your opinion of the subject and its overall quality. Other than playing with the colors a bit it's as I saw it that long ago morning.

Enjoy!

(149,560 posts)It's an unusual photo, but very pretty. As you say, it was as a result of a lucky coincidence, and those often make wonderful pictures, as this one does.
What size print would you make?

Been thinking also of doing the same to some of my fractals. It wouldn't be cheap, but I believe it may be worth the outlay.

(149,560 posts)I have displayed some of my stuff in our home, and it is great to see.
None of mine are 3' tall, though!
Good seeing you tonight...
