If George W. Bush had been elected in 1952 and in 1956
Suppose Eisenhower decided not to run for President, so GWB (in this alternate world was born in 1898) ran and was elected (or selected, you choose). Would he have managed to dork up the booming economy that existed for many Americans at the time? Probably not. To do that, you have to have Dick Cheney born in 1893 as his Veep. Alternate history gets complicated.
I just had the thought if that had happened, I wonder if a nucular (sic) war would have resulted.
