Ack. Glad I am done with work for awhile, and can stay home out of the heat.

Weather service says it might 'cool down' into the 80's sometime next week.

Popcorn fart...sound like the kind of thing my dad used to say.

I can't say I like it much. I moved here in part to get away from hot weather.

Mrs. Obvious and I have been really cranky lately, and there's no relief in sight. {sigh}

8. Unseasonably cool today in Chapel Hill, NC

It rained most of the afternoon. Not the hot, steamy, summertime rain of
the south, but cool rain that feels like fall is coming. High today was 75
and now at 11 PM it's 64.

Weather sure is weird!
