So I ran into Angelyne on the east side of Hollywood today...

...she was selling Angelyne tee shirts and stuff outta the trunk of her hot pink Corvette, so I asked to get a picture with her...for only $10:

...way before KK.

Angelyne was the most famous not-famous person I never heard of, the first time I heard of her - when I saw one of her billboards, way back when.

Those billboards were really hard to miss!

The rest is...history?

First she was not-famous. Then she was famous for being not-famous. And then she became infamous for being famous for being not-famous.

I so remember seeing her pop up at just about any event she could crash! This first person I remember knowing about who was "famous" for not doing anything in particular except the billboards. She has to be in her 50s now, no?

...she was born in 1958, so she'd be 56 and counting.

However, I'm not so sure of that - although, not in a younger direction.

It was fun to meet her and have the picture taken.

Long may she wear her micro-mini dress and cruise around Hollyweird in her hot-pink 'Vette!
