Two hours of Agent Carter was already morning entertaining than Agents of SHIELD, and I see it doubt a much better job connecting the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you've enjoyed the movie, you'll like this show.

(26,117 posts)I watched it with my 12 y.o. daughter - she loved it. ETA: she was floored that we have to wait a week for the next episode (we rarely watch regular TV series - mostly Netflix). LOL
The period treatment seemed pretty authentic - great music!

And, as well trained in hand to hand as she seems to be, they probably should have given the super soldier formula to her instead of scrawny Steve Rogers.

(28,394 posts)I thought it was well-done and captured the 1940s. Some of the dialogue was really funny. I will watch it again. (I DVR'd it so I could watch Rachel last night.)

(35,015 posts)I love Agents of Shield too; but with it's 1940's era costumes, and the comedic slant of the butler (I love him), Agent Carter is quite entertaining in a different sort of way.
With both series, Marvel has cleverly tied them in with the movies, and filled in back stories we've never known. GOOD STUFF.
