SNOW flurries in Jacksonville, FLORIDA

Sorry, there are no pictures as the light flurries are camera shy, but damn.

I don't care if you live up north and get snow, you should expect it, but when you move to Florida you do so under the idea that you will not get snowed on. This is the 2nd time that I have seen snow of some type in Florida. The last was 4 years ago.

I was there for an event. Only time I stayed there, rather than traveling through there deeper into Florida.

I doubt Jacksonville has the gear to deal with it. We had flurries in Hollywood when I was a kid in the 70s. They didn't stick at all, but the other kids were excited. I was from up north so I had seen my share of snow. I just moved back down from Boston after two years up there. I was excited to see my first snow in years during the first winter. After digging the minivan out a couple of times, I was over it though. My doggies loved it. Enjoy it while it lasts, but stay safe!
