I'll always keep my copies of "Kitchen Confidential" and "A Cook's Tour" -- I can pick them up looking for a quote and have to reread all over again because the writing is so good. "Medium Raw" seems like extended blog posts, not a lot of thought to quality. I gave the book away after one read. On the other hand, he discusses his first wife and I always wondered about her. For what it's worth.
