I think I may have come up with an explanation for an annual January weather phenomena

that most folks refer to as the "January thaw."

I realized tonite while reading a newsletter from my state rep that the January thaw usually coincides with a sudden high level of hot air at the various state capitols across the country. Both happen in mid-January yearly.

In Indiana, we generate enough hot air in Indianapolis this time of year to thaw Illinois and Ohio as well. I think I saw a report of Tulips blooming in the capitol.
