1. I have to agree.

However, I would guess it's a boost to happier childhood memories of licking the spoons or the beaters (once they were off! )

Plus, for the anxious kid too impatient to wait for them to bake, it's a quick sugar fix

2. When I'm making cookies, I like a little taste or two of the dough.

And scrape the bowl. But that's it.

I like my cookies baked.
