The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI started watching Breaking Bad on Netflix even after seeing only the series finale.
And knowing the main characters' ultimate fates.
Do you think I'll still enjoy it? I'm only two episodes in, but so far it seems to be pretty well done.
Not sure why I watched the series finale since I didn't watch the show in its regular run, other than the fact that I heard a lot about it and wanted to know what all the talk was about.
I'm just asking because the series is, what, six seasons long. Am I wasting my time?

(115,681 posts)Even if you know how it ends, it's fascinating to watch the way Walter White gradually turns from a bitter, nebbishy high school chemistry teacher into a completely corrupt drug kingpin. And the secondary characters, most of whom are also sort of awful in their own ways, are just as much fun to watch. The writing and acting is really terrific. I've seen the whole series twice and still appreciate how damn good it is.

(10,098 posts)I sometimes watch the repeats and always catch something new. It was just such a well done show the writing, the acting, the direction, the settings. The plots did get rather complicated for my brain at some point. I have started watching Better Call Sal, the prequel show and I am enjoying it also.
