The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsSo are you thinking about buying that $10,000 iWatch?
What a strange item. I can just about see spending that much on what would be a family heirloom, but these will be obsolete in just a few years.

(4,851 posts)My dad gave me a Timex 25 years ago that he probably spent $20 on. It works great and I still use it. Its simple, black band and chrome color watch. It winds, so no battery needed, and it still keeps good time.

(4,851 posts)Timex made good watches. Mine has been dropped dozens of times and it still is scratch free and works great.
