At least it will get up in to the low 60s later today.

(17,997 posts)At least it's just the "feels like" temperature and not the actual temperature.
Thanks Steve! I hope you can stay comfortable down there. Unlike Arizona (post above yours) They are really sweating it out. Probably melting!

We're melting! Except in Chicago where it's so cold nothing will melt it!

(17,997 posts)Feels like a heatwave here. But when it hits 100 this summer, we'll be wishing for the cold 61 degrees.
I remember being in Fort Lauderdale when the temperature was around 60. There was some ash or seed or something floating in the air. We were inside a building and someone looking out said, "look! It's snowing! "
I had to walk away to make sure they didn't hear me laughing at them.

(34,133 posts)So we'd just put on all the clothes we owned to try to stay warm!
Now that I live up North - in Tallahassee - I have actual winter clothes, but I still dress in layers. We can start out in the 20s but get into the upper 60s that afternoon, so we have to be ready to peel off some clothes. Plus, most interiors are heated into the upper 70s, as opposed to being cooled to the mid 60s in the summer.
