You Booze, You Snooze: Qatar Airways Flight Attendant Caught Sleeping It Off

What a lush! A Qatar Airways flight attendant was found slumped outside the entrance to her overnight accommodations, allegedly intoxicated, on Monday. Apparently, she was dropped off at the property by her coworkers; other coworkers later found her and proceeded to lug her upstairs.

The woman’s boss, Qatar’s Vice Present Rossen Dimitrov, was not pleased, to say the least. After he heard the news, he sent out a mass email to the entire company — the tenth-largest airline in the world — detailing the intoxication incident, complete with a photo of the woman’s boozy bust....

The incident is extra surprising, considering Qatar Airways operates out of a Muslim country that prohibits alcohol among its citizens.

“In Doha, the consumption of alcohol is not permitted for nationals and, although drinking is permitted for foreigners, being seen to be drunk would be considered highly disrespectful — it would have negative implications for both the individual and those associated with them,” a Qatar Airways spokesperson told MailOnline Travel.
