Did you watch Oz?

I just started the second season, and although I can quit watching right now, I am strangely fascinated. I want to see how the Beecher character plays out. And I just cannot stop watching J.K. Simmons.

2. Just finished marathon watch of all 6 seasons.

There were a few scenes that I did not care for, it really is graphic. but the overall content and story line is powerful.
Equally powerful are the expositions at the beginning of each episode, by Augustus, on facts of prisons.

did you know that Steve Buscemi ( Boardwalk empire)directed some episodes?

Simmons is fantastic, isn't he?
don't stop watching, there are twists and turns aplenty for Beecher and other inmates, right up to the last episode.

4. Yes, I watched it when it first aired.

I was a kid and I probably was too young to watch it but it was great. It is definitely violent and not for children or the squeamish. The show stayed fascinating throughout the series.
