A riddle for today

You need to get a wolf, a side of beef and Ted Nugent across a river. Your boat will hold one of them. If you take the beef first Ted Nugent will kill the wolf. If you take either Ted or the wolf across, the beef will be eaten. You are not allowed to shoot Ted. How will you do this?

1. Does The Nuge have to be alive when you get him to the other side?

If not,

Kill Ted, yay!

Take the wolf across, then come back for Ted's smelly carcass (funny, you just killed him a minute ago and already the smell is horrific), then take the beef across after you drop the bloated corpse of Ted with the now very frightened wolf.

2. Put the beef in the boat and make Ted and the wolf swim.

5. The Answer

Try to hand Ted Nugent an enlistment form. He'll swim the river and start running when he reaches the other side to get away from it. Once he's gone, attach the form to the side of beef and take it across the river. Then take the wolf.
