Camping Questions - Follow Up

Here is what I've learned of the event.

It is held each year on private land in northeast Connecticut. The campsite is near the parking lot.

I'm told the temp is around 70s-80s during the day and the 50s at night.

There is running water, but I don't know about sinks. There are no showers or toilets (save for a port-a-potty).

I don't know if there's a grocery nearby. However, someone will make a daily ice run, so basics must be nearby.

The camp is for five days (four nights).

I failed to ask today if there's electricity. I'll find out tomorrow. I also have to ask if there's cell reception. I sincerely doubt it.

There is something called a camp shower or a sun shower and they can be had for as little as $10 or so. Here's one example:

http://www.amazon.com/Coghlans-9965-Camp-Shower/dp/B000VNITQS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1432797509&sr=8-3&keywords=sun+shower

The sun heats up the water and they work surprisingly well. There are pop-up shelters available that work with the shower bag, but it's not that difficult to jury rig a privacy screen (you could use an old shower curtain from home or something like that) as long as there are plenty of tree branches to tie stuff to.

You are very smart to think ahead and prepare. You're going to have a wonderful time!
