Near the water?

I love the Delaware beaches. Did Fenwick Island this year. Love Dogfish Head, too.

When I lived in Northern Virginia I loved going to Rehoboth and renting a room in one of the many converted homes about that same distance from the boardwalk. And I fantasized about what it would be like to live there in the off-season.

Very cool place to live!

the lake effect. When my family lived in the Detroit area, it was considerably sunnier. A cold winter day with sunshine is a lot less depressing.

However, I'm not sure that there is a lot to do in the Rehoboth area in the wintertime. A friend that retired to Cape May was disappointed by how much was closed. And, you will get some snow, and some serious storms.

There is at least as much to do in Rehoboth as in Akron in the winter. I like walking and the ocean is a great place to do that.
