To be honest, I put safety before pride. I get just as mad at the fools who do not move out of the way and drive slow and block tailgaters as I do at the tailgaters. My rule is, anyone who looks unsafe, get out of the way and let them go far away from me.

I see people who can't stay in a lane and wave in and out. I move as far away as I can and let them go way in front of me. Its just not worth it.

I understand the desire to be a jerk back to someone who is a jerk and tailgates, but I encourage everyone to just back off and let the jek go. Seen too much pain and death from accidents.

I don't understand why the police focus so heavily on speeding when there are so many other problems like tailgating which easily cause as many, if not more accidents.

were all caused by tailgaters. They scare the stuff out of me.

(Yes, I drive the speed limit when conditions allow.)

That is especially the case if one is slow at the Left-most lane which is considered the passing lane.

behind me because in the 'slow' lane at 10 mph over the speed limit I was going to slow.

In WI going to the 70 mph speed limit has not made the freeways safer. They've made them more like a hybrid between NASCAR sprint racing and demolition derby

Apparently this has just facilitated people procrastinating until the absolute last moment to leave for work or appointments based on distance divided by speed limit plus 5-10.

70 is better than 80mph like it is out here in he big western states. I refuse to drive that fast so I stay in the right lane when I am on the Interstates and even then there's a gang of "gotta go as fast as the car can go" fleet. The good part is that I have to go 100 miles to get to an Interstate and I will opt for the two-lane whenever there is one as an alternative. I'm too old to be in a big hurry anymore.

Leave him crying in the dirt on the side of the road. Love this. And Robert Loggia is such a good gangster.

When I was briefly involved in (rather questionable) film, our producer was credited as Mr. Eddy.
