Junior Wells could blow a mean harp

But I just realized that he could shake his ass in James Brown fashion quite well too. I'm not gay, so the ass shimmying does nothing for me, but the confidence, exuberance, cockiness and showmanship is top notch. (And Otis Rush on guitar too!!!!!)

Back in the 1960s, my local DC area group had the honor of opening for them at the short-lived Ambassador Theater.

He and his band were one very cool group of dudes!
