fine instrument. The 000s clearly have more bass, and are a bit louder if that's important to you. If you are buying used, at a good price, you'll be able to sell it and at least break even. But it's a nice enough Martin that you'll be satisfied for a long time.

that sort of confirms what I've been thinking from watching video demonstrations of them. I thought they had a nice mid range, and excelled as a finger-style type guitar as opposed to a booming, strumming dreadnought. The price is literally %50 of a new one, so if this guitar checks out, I'll probably grab it.

I've had 'Don't think twice' by Dylan on my mind a lot lately, and I think that this would be a good guitar for that sort of stuff, as well as rootsy, country blues.

In fact, I kind of polished mine up to give it a much darker look like an old 00-17.

I especially like the neck on mine and of course the size is nice for playing on the couch or in a recliner, which I do mostly nowadays.

At that price, you can't go wrong.
