After the darkness ...

The Winter Solstice, the longest night and shortest day of the year, is Monday night.

The solstice occurs at the same instant everywhere on Earth. In the United States, it happens at 11:48 p.m. ET Monday (or 10:48 p.m. CT, 9:48 p.m. MT)

May the longer minutes of light bring happiness into your heart each day

7. And a happy Summer Solstice from those of us on the bottom side of the globe.

I miss Winter, the one we had in July was more like an Autumn than a Winter.
