2 hrs long and it flew by (ever watch a movie, even a short one, and its SO dull it seems like its as long as a flight to Sydney, well this wasn't one of those films)..
Compelling story w/good performances (could see Del Torro get a Best Supporting Actor for this one), and no over the top action sequences or characters & cheesy, cliched lines....
For those of you who've seen it, this ending scene IMO is powerful as hell.... "You should move to a small town, where the rule of law still exists...You will not survive here..You are not a wolf, & this is the land of wolves now"..

(25,348 posts)I'm a big fan of Emily Blunt and her performance is top notch. Loved her in Edge of Darkness. (which was not seen by a large share of the populace even though it's in the top 10 of Films to see)
Yes, the ending was thoughtful and ..just double cool.

(10,946 posts)I totally agree that he should get an oscar for his performance. About the time that the movie came out there was some whispers on the internet that there might be a sequal staring Del Torro.

(5,340 posts)I went into it not knowing much about it and having seen the trailer maybe twice and enjoyed it immensely.

(72,790 posts)Del Toro was amazing, as usual; was the best thing about the movie.
I thought Emily Blunt was miscast.
