Wherever we go when we are gone he's still out there making waves or surfing them.

Seriously.

I still haven't heard his last album. Apparently he knew he was Stage IV the whole time, and it colors the whole thing. I'm not even sure I want to buy it just yet, though. I'd rather stay in a stasis where Mr. Bowie is still an inspiration to me that I might one day open for...

it was the version that was nearly 6 minutes long!

Ever since I heard the news of Bowie's death, I keep hearing that song in my head.

I really don't have a huge collection, anyway, but I don't think I've ever owned a David Bowie cassette, CD, or album. Maybe I had the cassette with China Girl on it.

But I have always enjoyed his music and his personality, and I have never felt so deeply sad for the loss of an artist/celebrity as I do for David Bowie. I just can't believe he's gone. I suppose it's time to start collecting those CDs.
