But it does remind one of Frost's The Road Not Taken:

TWO roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I wouldn't care if it made money or not. It would just be awesome to own one and I'd make it a fun place to hang out for cool people like me.

Are either LZ or ELO.

So it would be a cool place that sold everything. Just no Creed or Nickelback. I'd burn those if they came into my shop.

Having a Personal Photo shop that takes family portraits and judging the families that come in to have their group pictures taken-

"NO, NO - much too ugly go away-botox for you, madam and you, sir, lose 100 pounds - Go to the gym. And your children, get another set. "

Yah, probably wouldn't make much but really would be fun.

I'm only saying this after helping my son in his photo shop and seeing what type of crap he had to put up with and the trouble he went through to make family group photos.

There was a broken hot water pipe last night and, somehow (I have no idea) that meant there was no heat, so they kept us out today.

Still waiting to hear if I have to use my own leave or if we get some sort of administrative leave. I don't really care, but it might matter to some.

Still, if I worked in the tropics, I wouldn't care if I had to work every day. Gotta be better than 15 degrees.

Over the past few years management began running things in an intensified "top-down" fashion and have become micromanaging pains in the asses. The people in lower management are mostly OK, but they're scared to death now of their own bosses in middle management, and thus have become great big pains in butt to work for.

It's a shame because it made a once fun job into something we just do to get by and count the time to retirement.
