I have enough Beer to get me through about a week of being trapped inside. I have all my iDevices charged up too so I can blast the music at home.



What's your agenda to prep for the big storm coming Friday afternoon.

1. I'm cooking something yummy in teh crock pot.

Like chicken, mushrooms and kale with a mix of brown and red rice.

2. Dog food and bully sticks are the only things left to get!

I'm going to have a low-carb freezer-friendly cookfest (smokey chicken/kale/white bean stew, chili, turkey teriyaki meatballs, and fajitas)! One recipe for each night from Friday to Monday (you know, just in case they close the Univ. on Monday - wishful thinking). I'm doing a double batch of each and will freeze all the leftovers in individual portions for lunches.

3. Just bought cheap cooking spray to coat the snow shovels

It helps the snow slide off instead of sticking.

4. I bought extra bird seed and ingredients for chicken soup!

I am ready!!!

9. LOL Sort of.

My favorite way to spend snowdays was to make a pot of chicken soup and sit by the window watching the birds while I enjoyed my hot soup. I even enjoy shoveling show. It was such a contrast to all the stress at work. My pleasures are simple.

5. Just drove back to NE Ohio to avoid snow (I have never said that before)

Was down at Rehoboth working on our soon to be home, cut trip short a couple days due to blizzard.
Everything battened down and all friends staying in town.
