I have young neighbors who have never lived on their own before. The one on the upper floor complained that she heard "faint television sounds" at night. I looked at her and said, "Honey, you live in an apartment. Go rent or buy a house." She mad. But hell, that's the way it is.

The place I'm currently in is on the ground floor. The present upstairs neighbor isn't too bad - mostly just walking sounds. I had one who played the crappiest music real loud. It's one thing to blast out hardcore or hiphop but she blasted country/pop ballads, ugh.

Regardless, I've mostly grown accustomed to it and when it starts to get on my nerves I pop in some earplugs.

I've lived here on and off for years and love the place. I live in an apartment. I deal with it. I'm in a major fuck off mode now. I'm still playing nice at work.
