Fine line of distinction I guess but just two artists / bands working together.

I saw Ray at the Greek Theater in LA - that show, and a BB King show at a small club in NY were hands-down the best performances I've ever seen.

You have to sit down and savor this song, give it a moment of your time. It's not slick and easy elevator music. It's also one of the high points of Willie's efforts to branch out and transcend labels, like "Country Singer." He is. but it doesn't end there.

This is an old one I only have on vinyl. I thought, why not post the entire thing, it's all good stuff.

...is Clapton attempting to convince a reluctant Wolf to play guitar on "Little Red Rooster."

That's a 5-star album if there ever was one. I put it at the same level as Muddy's "Fathers & Sons" and his Blue Sky sessions with Johnny Winter, and the end-of-career albums John Lee Hooker did with Roy Rogers as producer ("The Healer," "Mr. Lucky," etc).

Other than that, how about Louis and Lady Day?:

There may be better duets in music, but if so, I don't know one. And contains Louis's great line, "I don't lie, baby, I'm just careless with the truth."

This started out as a collaboration for one song for the film "Grace of My Heart". They enjoyed working together so much they did a whole album, and it's really good.

Here's "God Give Me Strength"
