Why does it seem to be late autumn all year round on House of Cards?

New Hampshire primary episode took place in late autumn weather. Now it's episode 9 and... wallah... that too has overcast Novembery weather. I guess in this alternate universe, climate change has taken the form of Global Glooming.

of a Britcom on public TV, "Keeping Up Appearances" where it never rains or snows. In fact it appears to be in perpetual Springtime because the forsythia's always in bloom.
