The Love Song of Donald J Prufrock

Found this on facebook. A brilliant rewriting of 'The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock'. Sorry to only post a link, but it is in a format that I can't seem to copy properly. So, take a look. Just a taste:

Let us go then, you and me,
When the evening is spread out like a detainee
Being waterboarded upon a table;
Let us go, through glitzy over-crowded streets,
In our limo's leather seats
Extolling violence and wealth
Without regard for worker safety or health
Streets that bluster like a posturing candidate
Who's clearly second-rate
To lead you to an overwhelming question...
Oh, don't ask if I'm serious.
We'll leave it as mysterious.

On the tube the language is Orwellian
And politicians Machiavellian.
