The older one was like, "I'm coming to save you, Mom!" The smaller one was just a copy-cat!

Our Harry is very vocal- he makes all sorts of sounds. He also talks to my husband differently than he does with me. But he really goes off when there's a door closed between me and him. There's none of his usual sweet little chatter, it's similar to the video, but with more "M" and "OW"... like "Mommwow!", and very loud. Then he starts throwing himself against the door and grabbing and the doorknob. But, he couldn't care less if my husband shuts a door. Lucky me.

That would drive me nuts.

My old man cat hangs out on the bathroom vanity waiting for me to finish showering, but he is nowhere near as persistent as these two!

Our older cat is a very chatty and sometimes bossy, Manx, but he's nothing like our Siamese.

Sky blue eyes and the coat of a flame point Himy, but he doesn't have the snub nose of a Himy. I had a Siamese-mix female who died last fall. She was a very sweet and relatively quiet cat. I've always heard that Siamese we really talkative.

Deep blue eyes and he has an ostrich plume tale.
Our Harry is very chatty and very affectionate. He has different sounds for me vs my husband, and vs our other cat. He's got the sweetest disposition of any cat I've ever known. His nick-name at the vet's office is, "The Little Sugar Plum". He really is just a total little darling.

sounds for his hoominz. I've never heard of that before.

My old man cat (Monkey) wanders around the house, usually with a toy in his mouth, making a really weird, kind of deep meow. He has done this since he was a kitten. He frequently wakes me up around 3:00 am for no particular reason. Bored I guess.

making this weird, muffled yowl. He doesn't seem to want me to do anything with the toy except acknowledge that he has it.

The Siamese will bring me his snakes (ribbons), or live critters - generally spiders or centipedes. Luckily so far, I've not been awakened in the middle of the night with live stuff. He's saved the live stuff for putting on my foot while I'm having coffee (both of us then take off screaming). I do wake many times to ribbons on my chest and his little 'icks' and 'mmees'... of course there are also 'snakes' near my head and in my slippers. Sometimes in the morning, I am literally surrounded by his ribbon snakes. He's a goofy little guy.

He might be part Siamese; he's got a long nose and a long whippy tail and a voice that could curdle gin.

I feel your pain.
But they are so sweet, affectionate and smart... I love all the chatties and chirps... I even get a kick out of the desperate closed door drama.
