2. Had 2 nephews play AAU through High School.......

both started playing AAU in I think 8th grade. These 2 nephews are brothers. The oldest played high school basketball and football for 4 years & ended up playing D3 football, where his coach said that he had the skills to play tight end professionally. He didn't chase that dream, he got his BS in economics & an MBA. Works for a bank now, nice position, nice pay.

The younger played 2 years of high school basketball and 4 years of football. He quit basketball because the coach was verbally abusive to the players, among other things. The coach once kicked him out of a practice and made him walk 2 miles home, on streets with sidewalks. His Dad was fuming. The coach lost an asset of a 6' 4", now 6'7" player. He ended up playing D3 football. He has a BA in Political Science and works for a non-profit.
