T. Rex was closer in time to us than it was to Stegosaurus

Just a timescale fact I love: 65 million years separate H sapiens from T rex . 80 million years+ separate T rex from S stenops.

It got me thinking. Mr. froggy and I have been married 50 years. More time has elapsed between our wedding day and today than elapsed between the Wright brothers' flight at Kitty Hawk and the day I was born.

Yeesh.
