Legendary Country star Glen Campbell, who was then a session musician for hire, played rhythm guitar on 'Strangers in the Night'. He recalled to The Daily Telegraph October 9, 2008 that he was so dumbstruck by being in the presence of the master that he couldn't stop staring at him. "Frank asked (the producer) Jimmy Bowen, 'Who's the fag guitarist over there?' I told him I'd slap him if he said that again."

Interesting side note: Glen Campbell couldn't read a lick of music but got by using his extraordinary ear, plus all musicians loved him and helped steer his way through sessions.

It's about the session players that Glenn was a member of. It's amazing how many records they were responsible for.

It's even more detailed, plus it has a spectacular index for cross referencing.

In my perfect world I would suggest watching Denny Tedesco's film with Hartman's book open and ready. The Wrecking Crew was, indeed, the best kept secret in the music industry.

On edit: The Wrecking Crew film credits runs like ten, twelve minutes! I would love to figure a way to print all the individual stills.

When I was young, it was my fight song.
Now, I'm glad it helped me to pull myself up by my own bootstraps.
Yes, I also did it my way.
