How to detect the Trekkies in the room

Say these words and wait for the reaction

I've done far worse than kill you. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her; marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet... buried alive! Buried alive...!

But I'm not going to say it and ruin the thread out of the gate.

Boy, is it hard not to say it.

I didn't have a tv and wanted to catch part 1 of Unification, so I went to the meeting.

The burning issue of the day was how to design the header for the club's news letter, which they wanted to feature both the NCC-1701 and the NCC-1701D. They nearly came to blows over whether to depict the ships as the same size or at correct scale.

They went back and forth for a very heated 25--interspersed with about ten minutes of Monty Python recitations--after which they tabled the matter because the episode was about to air.

I'd always sort of fancied myself a lifelong geek, but they showed this man of geekiness what geekiness really was.
