I read somewhere that you get a biological "re-set" with a 48 hour fast, so I gave it a try. Never again. You get nauseated and weak and dizzy. But 24 hours is manageable.

By morning, I feel like I'm jumping out of my skin!

I'm probably wrong, but doesn't fasting like that just get rid of "water-weight"?

Usually hits me in early evening, when I take it kind of leisurely for a few hours.

I've never been a big eater and facial injuries in young adulthood left me with dental and other deficits whch make eating more of a challenge.

I have never been overweight in my life and never had to diet. A diet tailored to my needs would mean MORE food.

At the moment I'm trying to eat more, as I've seen the telltale symptoms that I'm not eating enough--my face starting to look gaunt with cheeks starting to sink.

Of course, the root of my problem could be that I'm just not drinking enough beer.
