I had my first, ever, Jello shot yeaterday.

It was tequila and lime.
It was OK.

We were invited to a party in the neighborhood.
People we don't know that well.
2 p.m.

Who has a 'party' at 2 p.m.?
Too late for lunch.
Too early for supper.
Too early for booze.

These folks are on a different schedule.
I declined adult bevs until 3:30, anyway.
My usual Happy Hour starts at 4ish.
What the hell. It was Saturday.


Food came out about 3 p.m.
Who the hell eats at 3 in the afternoon?
We went home at 5.
Messed up my whole evening.

I know, I know...I'm complaining about a gift horse.
Still...

5. I had my first jello shot

last 4th of July, and my second one tonight.

Our really cool new young neighbors hooked me up.

They were festive and cute. Red, white and blue.

Lehrer was the greatest mathematician to ever get chalk on his coat. And was our revenge against Denmark for Victor Borge.
