Youtube autoplay: The Bane of My Life's Existence

It's not so much the feature itself. It's the fact that after a thousand times of getting burned by some fourteen year-old kid blasting "Sandstorm" after I watch something that I want to watch, I still cannot remember to turn autoplay off before I watch the first damned video.

What in the hell is wrong with me?

The same goes for "annotations."

Yes, I know that they're set "on" for purposes of click-ad revenue, and I know that I can turn these off in my profile, but I see no value in logging in if logging in does nothing but turn off features that shouldn't be on in the first place.
