Sorry to hear about you losing your job. Hopefully you will be able to find an even better one soon.

You've worked so hard at your other job, school and then finding another job only to have this happen. Take some time to decompress and figure out what you really want and need.
Very happy you have your wife by your side.

(43,889 posts)Sometimes it takes a push to get out of a miserable situation, and what comes after is generally far better. But we're always afraid of the unknown so we stick around and put up with crap we shouldn't have to.
Getting fired is liberating.
