There are multiple story lines that they don't come back to until two or three episodes later.

Best thing about the show is the cinematography. Practically every scene is a work of art.

I've been unsure of how much of the grotesquerie and crass humor would survive in an adaptation for basic cable, because that stuff is integral to the property, sort of like how you can't make a rack of ribs with no gristle. Thanks for the recommendation.

And I rely on my phone for the internet these days so streaming isn't really optimal...

But I read the first couple years of the comic book. I remember (I worked in a comic book store in the 90s) it was a sleeper hit and people were playing 75 dollars for a Number 1. It was pretty outrageous but a lot of fun to read! I wonder have they toned down it all for tv...I'd like to see who plays Cassidy and Tulip, as well as Saint of Killers and Arseface!
