On my cable system HNN is 47, right on top of 48, the SciFi channel. So, I always see those "Historical reality" shows listed when looking for the latest Shark silliness. They don't startle me any more.

But, Discovery, TLC, and those others are up by the Disney Channel and just below Fox Nooz, so I skip over them; and when I do see the titles for some reason, I pee myself a little.

The absolute worst, btw, was Pants-Off Dance-Off on Fuze 10 years ago. I just had to watch that, (once was all I could take) and contestants actually stripped while dancing to disco, for cheap prizes. It did the Gong Show proud, and some of it is still available on the cheesier corners of the the web.
